Councillor’s Corner 17/18 No 26 - Artisan Market

Pitmen supporter and HTFCSA committee member Paul Woodhead is a Cannock Chase District Councillor for Hednesford. You will see him around the ground most match days, usually as Pitman Pete and in the Strikers Bar after the game where you can talk to him about any matters or issues of concern.

In these articles I want to bring the role of the councillor alive to you and ensure I am accountable to you as the elected representative for the ward in which the football club resides. I will highlight some of the things I get involved with and the decisions the council makes on your behalf. I will be available after most home games for a general conversation and we can arrange a private discussion should that be appropriate. Alternatively you can contact me by phone on 07930 120077 or by email paul.woodhead@greenparty.org.uk

Are you a local crafter?

Do you make and sell your own made goods?

The aim is to support local crafters with an opportunity to sell their goods, art and creations to the local community. We are hoping to add to the atmosphere by inviting local performing artists to promote their own skills and shows. This local aspect will be supported by a limited number of external stall holders to complement the local offering.

If you are a local crafter, know a local crafter or anyone who makes or sells their own made or quirky goods, artwork or items please spread the word to come along and have a stall to showcase your works

The Artisan Market will be based on Anglesey Crescent alongside Hednesford Library on the 3rd Saturday of the month. Trading from 9am to 4pm. The first one is scheduled for Saturday 21st April from 9am, come along before the Mickelover game.

Stall holders will need to be self-sufficient for their own gazebo, table, chairs, power etc.

There are limited spaces and priority will be given to Hednesford based crafters and homemade goods who will only be asked for a voluntary contribution depending on your individual success, other traders can reserve a stall from as little as £10
