Councillor Andrea Muckley, Hednesford Hills and Rawnsley

Andrea lives with her family just by the Green Pipe and is a familiar face across Cannock Wood, Hazel Slade, Prospect Village and Rawnsley. She was elected for the third time in May 2024, having finally won the fight to get the footbridge reinstated in Rawnsley Woods, working to paint our play parks and improve our nature reserves. She will keep focusing on protecting our beautiful parks and open spaces.

Councillor Jo Elson, Hednesford Hills and Rawnsley

Jo lives on the outskirts of Hednesford with her husband and granddaughter. She understands the importance of community facilities. That’s why she fought as part of the council’s cabinet to keep the Museum of Cannock Chase open. She was also instrumental in reopening Prospect Village Hall, starting the book swaps in local pubs and fighting to keep footpaths clear for everyone, especially parents with buggies and older and disabled residents.

Councillor Hayley Page, Hednesford Hills and Rawnsley

Hayley was thrilled to be elected for the first time in May 2024 and would like to thank all the residents who have put their trust in her. Hayley is a community campaigner who successfully fought against Chaserider’s decision to cut the 62 bus service. She is now turning her attention to the 60 service which has been re-routed, missing out parts of Hednesford. As a bus user Hayley understands what a lifeline these services are and will keep working to protect and improve them.

Councillor Darrell Mawle, Hednesford Pye Green

Darrell has lived in Hednesford with his family for over 20 years. He is involved in many of the wonderful things going on around the town – planting spring bulbs, litter picking in the parks and decorating the town square.

Darrell started the petition signed by over 3,000 residents which eventually resulted in the Museum of Cannock Chase staying at its historic site. He is now focused on combatting the dangerous parking in the town centre.

Councillor Liz Bishop, Hednesford Pye Green

Liz has lived in and around Hednesford for her whole life. Like so many residents, she loves getting out into nature in the green spaces that surround our town. She was elected as Councillor for Hednesford South in May 2023 on a promise to get the footbridge reinstated at Angelsey Nature Reserve. A year later she had got that done and was re-elected for Hednesford Pye Green in 2024 – proving that when you vote Green, you get Councillors who take action whilst others just talk!
